This Privacy Policy describes how Chromatik Games ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our games and services. Chromatik Games is operated as a sole proprietorship by Duane P. Smith Jr., based in North Carolina, USA.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate our games:

• Game data: progress, settings, statistics, achievements — stored locally on your device and, if you opt in, synced via Steam Cloud.
• Crash reports: if you experience a crash, technical details about the error and your game state at the time may be sent to our crash reporting service (Sentry) to help us fix bugs. No personal information is collected.
• Steam account data: when playing through Steam, basic Steam account info (username, Steam ID) is used for multiplayer features and leaderboards. This is governed by Steam's privacy policy.
• Multiplayer connection data: IP addresses are temporarily processed by our relay server to facilitate multiplayer matches. They are not stored after the session ends.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve our games — fix crashes, sync progress across devices, enable multiplayer, display leaderboards, and communicate with you about your account or support requests.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with:

• Steam (Valve Corporation) — for account, multiplayer, achievements, and leaderboard features. Subject to Steam's privacy policy.
• Sentry — for crash reporting. Subject to Sentry's privacy policy.
• Hosting providers — Cloudflare (this website) and our multiplayer relay host process traffic on our behalf.

4. Your Rights

If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us at privacy@chromatikgames.com to exercise these rights.

5. Children's Privacy

Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention

Game progress remains on your device until you delete it. Crash reports are retained for up to 90 days. Multiplayer connection data is not retained after the session ends.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Effective" date above will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated via the game and our website.
